We will never forget the heart ache, shock, unbelief, and the whirlwind of sadness and anger that we felt. This morning we put out the flag as a reminder that we will never forget and never back down.

Events for the ages
It seems every generation has an event that shapes thier views and future. Civil War, Lincoln, WWI, Pearl Harbor, JFK, Sept 11, 2001. We remember the events of 8 years ago, 1 month after we got married. We watched it unfold on the TV that morning before going to work. Robert was a sign language interpreter at CSUN and had to interpret the tragic news as it was broadcasted around the world from New York. Emma provided transcription services at CSUN. We were scared and uncertain but did our jobs with boldness and confidence.

We watched the 9/11 show on Fox last night . It felt like 8 years ago all over. We will never forget and I pray the rest of the US doesn't forget either. I am proud of both of you for your bravery.
