What we've been doing

These last few weeks have been pretty intense, but we've had some fun.
We went to the Boise Zoo with Grandma and Grandpa Wood.

What! ?

Not a pleasant surprise this morning. It had been windy. Gusts up to 25 mph, sustained winds of 20 mph.

Spring!

No snow storms this spring break! The kids took a nature walk and came back to plant cedar berries.

Last shot

Isaac hit the last shot of the season! Poor kid was pretty sick half the time. This was fun though.

Bike ride

We took the kids on a 6 mile bike ride. That is their limit, but we had fun!

Going to China

Ethan: we went to China (for dinner last night:
Isaac: that's impossible. It is 125 miles away. 3 days on airplane, 6 days in a car and a million days walking.

Oh my

Time just gets away from us. Emma has been home since the first of the year. It is a long story. But she has had loads of fun with the kiddos!

Ethan-ism

The other day Ethan pulled a piece of hard candy he had been sucking on out of his mouth. It was very small and he says "just when you think you know a guy..."

Tonight Emma was looking for her backpack to go to class in the library so she would look "less dumb". Ethan says "why do you want to look less dumb, Mom? "

Snow Day!

This is what we woke up to...school is closed for everyone!

Cruisin' at Christmas

Rob and Emma took an 8 day cruise to Mexico the week before Christmas. Emma's parents graciously took all four kids that week.
The trip took Rob and Emma to Cabo San Lucas then down to Puerto Villarta

Griffith Observatory

Saturday we took a day trip to LA to meet with a friend of Emma's and see the stars. It rained the WHOLE day. But the kids still enjoyed the planetarium and telescopes.

Christmas cheer

Christmas was spent with family and friends in California.  Emma's brother's family was with us Christmas morning. It was a party.

The kids couldn't get enough of the iPad this week...what to do about that?

Arizona Thanksgiving

We spent Thanksgiving in Tempe this year. Grandma and Grandpa are getting older. We wanted the kids to have good memories we them. I think they did. Last time we went down was in 2010.
